Tell your side of the story about traveling under the Transportation Security Administration.
Arriving for flight 336 on Airtran at about 10:30am we had slight difficulties with the Airtran Kiosk and the Airtran employee said "We all have issues" after I said "Your machine seems to be broken and may have issues.
We then went through security and had our boarding pass and drivers license as required. No further problems at this point until we boarded the plane. Getting to our seats we find the row already filled. We asked the seated people if their ticket had the correct seat number on it, which it did. Puzzled and thinking the flight was overbooked we asked a flilght attendant to look into it. She requested the tickets from the seated people. Their tickets were correct and had OUR names on them not theirs. How could they get through security with names not matching their lisence. I still have the receipts that show the initials of the security personnel which were made on the wrong tickets. Then we were told to go to a differrent seat which the chart said was open. There was someone sitting there. This person turned out to not even be on the manifest at all. I am sure there is a good explination for all this but I don't know what it could be at this time so I will let you investigate.
Thanks for your assistance,
Scott Palmer
